am 16 yrs i started having pains in my gum when i went to the dentist i was told that i have pocket in my gum i was given some medicines to reduce the pain and the swelling i could not even talk well it was so painfull later my gum began to open up and food particle will go and setlle ther any time i eat and i noticed that teeth was growing in there and no mater how i brush my teeth i still have very bad breath what do u tink is the problem and how do i treat it will it be painfull if is to pull off my teeth will i be given sleeping tablets to sleep or will i be awake for them to pull of the teeth am so scared of how painfuul it might be i have been living with the infected gum for like 4 months now.and how long will it take it to heal after treating it because next month is christmas i dont want to miss out.Health Question & Answer

it will be painful at 1st after ur wisdom teeth are pulled out, but with the right pain relievers the pain wont be that horrible. it will take a couple of days to a week to really heal. as long as u dont eat hot foods after the surgery and dont suck the blood oozing out of ur gums. u wont miss out christmas cuz it doesnt take that long for it to heal. plus if ur worried how u look, the swelling lasts only a few days. oh yeah, the smell from the back of ur mouth, thats accumulated food from ur meals. better brush after every meal ok.? its so u could lessen the smell back there.Health Question & Answer
