Will Crest whitestrips stinging pain?!

Question: Will Crest whitestrips stinging pain.?
I have read the box and said white stains are normal and saw some where about your gums may sting from getting used to the white strips or just have sensitive gums.
Well it's day 3 and I tried to put it on today and it was a stinging pain in my gums and white spots on my gums, Now I was not worried about the white part and more of the stinging. I thought it was a effect from using it right after brushing my teeth so I wait about 1 hour and try another white strip and it still stings so I thought I wait it out and about 9 hours later they still sting.

I've seen this question alot please no one just answer and say "go see a dentist" I don't think this is a huge problem since they even say that pain might occur on the box can some one with experience tell me if the stinging will go away or should I stop using them.Health Question & Answer

yea i had the same feeling when i used them, just do it once a day or every other day, itll take a lil bit longer but theyll still get whitened. its normal for some people to feel a stingy kinda sensation, no worries, its not damaging or anything.Health Question & Answer

oh my god i have crest whitetstrips in my mouth as im typing and my gums are STINGING and I can feel my gums like pulsing it's really weird. This is only the 2nd time I've used them and it's weird because the first time I had no problems.. but I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. I have a feeling this pain will go away after your gums get used to them but I don't think it's anything to be worried about.Health Question & Answer

the same thing happened to me. although it may not seem as effective, wait a couple days to use the strips. don't ever use them twice a day, it will just irritate your sensitive gums. your teeth still end up white, it just takes longer! GOOD LUCK!Health Question & Answer

I had the same situation just this Tuesday. I used whitestrips two times, and after the second I woke up at night with a stinging pain all over the frontal parts of my jaws. The pain did not go away until I visited a dentist in the afternoon. The dentist put painkilling gel on my gums - not the kind you can get in a drugstore.
In my case, the dentist said that whitestrips awoke a bacterial gum infection. I am not using the strips anymore, obviously, and I got a toothpaste for sensitive teeth from the dentist, and still, five days after using strips, I feel sort of a residual stinging pain in my gums. The dentist said the pain will not be as sharp as it was the first day, but it will not go until I get deep gum cleaning. I hope it answers your question.Health Question & Answer
