Is it possible that a cyst in the gum can go away without having to have it cut out ?!

Question: Is it possible that a cyst in the gum can go away without having to have it cut out .?
It appeared from nowhere, and affected two teeth which i have had to have root canals done on them. The teeth are fine now but if that cyst stays I will have to go to hospital to have it removed. Ive had four lots of anti biotics because it filled with fluid twice. Dentist said it might go, but more than likely will have to go to hospital to have it removed. I'm a bit frightened because I also read on the internet cysts can be cancerous.

It appeared about a month ago. I thought it was an abscess at first as it was swelled and painful but had X ray at dentist and informed it's a cyst, and had infected the two teeth above.Health Question & Answer

My dentist was able to help me understand the root canal procedure clearly to me. They should be able to answer your questions. If you denist doesn't perform root canal procedures, try finding one here: http://www.addictionselfhelp.comHealth Question & Answer
