i really hate my teeth. i'm fourteen years old and i am STILL losing teeth! i also have a gap in my two front teeth. it realllllly lowers my self esteem. and when i go to the ORTHO. he keeps saying "you have to wait until ALLLL of your teeth fall out in order to get braces" and it really bites!Health Question & Answer

Don't worry, you WILL eventually get your braces! I'm getting my bottom ones done in March or so. Just relax. Be patient and when your orthodontist tells you it's time to get your braces, you will get them.

just relax ,you ae already fourteen. normally b the age of 12 to 13years you lose all your baby teeth and you can start with the orto treatment so may be with in few months you can sart with the treatment. for information on braces you can visit the following link

It's ok, all people undergo that process, it is called the ugly duckling stage. Its a normal physiologic process that really lower's one's se;f esteem. Its because that decidous teeth or milk teeth goes out at different ages or(ages of eruption and exfoliation) the tooth goes out if the permanent(bigger teeth) are ready to come out.

I have the EXACT same problem. My teeth are like, the worst things ever. Even though I've lost all my teeth, I had to get 4 teeth pulled, so I had to wait for them to move around. Now my ortho says I have to stop GROWING. Like, my whole body. It's awful. I always used to smile with an open mouth in pictures, but now I smile with a closed mouth, which makes me look like I'm sad.
Just hang in there. Hopefully things will turn out good for both of us. In the meantime, try to take focus off your teeth. We're lucky. Teeth are easier to fix than noses.
