Wisdom Teeth Removal (VERY NERVOUS! :()?!

Question: Wisdom Teeth Removal (VERY NERVOUS! :().?
I know these questions have been asked numerous times, but all of the answers I have come across (which is a LOT) haven't really seemed to help me a lot. I am not easily put as ease, if you can't tell.
Anywho, my appointment for my four impacted wisdom teeth is today at 9 am (it is now 5 24..and I am awake..) They are using general anesthesia to put me to sleep, I was just wondering what can I expect before and DURING the surgery.? People always say what will happen after, but I'd like to know what happens during. I know I won't feel anything, but is it possible that I can dream.?
How long will it take me to wake up.?

I'm even having the irrational fear that I won't wake up and if I do, I'll freak out because I'll have no idea where I am.
Yeesh, thanks in advance for your help, guys.Health Question & Answer

Been there honey and I can understand you being nervous as its not nice having to go to hospital. When you get there they will pop you into a gown and you will go and you will get anesthetised. Don't be scared its just a needle and you will count to 10, you won't reach 10 believe me you will be fast asleep and when you wake up you will have a bit of a sore throat feel a little sleepy still and you can go home in a few hours. You face will be a little swollen and you will end up with a few bruises but these will fade. Seriously you will be fine! You won't remember anything thats why general anesthetic is so good for having surgery. I didn't dream, I don't think you will either. You kinda sleep and wake up again! Don't be nervous about it. The nurses will look after you!

When I go back to my experience, most becomes a blur.
I was nervous, but spoke to the surgeons as I was being anesthatised and felt quite at ease.
I did however throw up during surgery, and woke up briefly in a state of panic, from both my side and theirs.
When it was over, I remember waking up and crying, and being incapable of being unemotional.
Take someone with you for support.
You'll be fine - just don't worry yourself into a state of panic like I did.Health Question & Answer

It's basically like sleeping, except you wake up with all your mouth hurting. You don't feel anything during the procedure and no, you won't dream. You'd only vomit if you ate something before the surgery.Health Question & Answer

Well, the procedure you're having done is quite common. Alot of people don't have enough room for their wisdom teeth.

Although its not unheard of for people to be awake during, in most cases those patients are put under anesthesia and the teeth are removed.
During the surgery you wont feel or think anything.. I have heard its possible to dream but i dont know, i'd imagine it'd be more like blinking. You're asleep one minute and the next you're awake and recovering. ( i cant say, i've never gone under the knife for anything)

You can ask your surgeon/dentist how long it'll take you to wake up.

Of course you'll wake up from it lol, as i said it's a common procedure and it's not one that often goes wrong.

You're lucky, my father had to have his jaw broken by the surgeon to get too the teeth and remove them

You really have nothing to worry about:]Health Question & Answer
