Is this normal for wisdom teeth?!

Question: Is this normal for wisdom teeth.?
I recently got my wisdom teeth extracted (On the 20th of october to be exact), all four of them. All of them feel fine except for the bottom right area. It hurts to sneeze or yawn. I did not spit/smoke/used a straw. I followed the dentists instructions. Is this normal or should i see my dentist.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
you need not worry about this. you have to understand that it's only been a day since they were extracted. when you got your wisdom teeth taken out, the doctors plowed your enamel and into your gums. the top gums don't usually hurt because the top of your mouth does not move. the gums in your lower mouth hurt because your constantly jaw moves. you must give this operation some time to heal. trust me, my brother was swollen up and in pain for over 5 days. eventually, you'll get used to everything. if the pain is too much for you to handle, please try a painkiller called ibuprophen. its great and you'll feel much better.

I have just been notified by you that it has been 5 days since your extraction, and not 1. my advice would be the same, give your gums time to heal; roughly two weeks. if the same occurs, then you want to see a dentist immediately. if the pain still exists, it's possible that you have an infection. an infection can be caused from not thoroughly sanitized medical instruments or repeatedly touching the wound with your bare finger. hope this helps.Health Question & Answer
