Question: How do I pull off a loose bracket off my braces.?
I have been using tweezers and moving it around and pulling up and down and I can't get it off! Please help, I am going to school in less than an hour, and I can't go to the orthodontist.Health Question & Answer

you shouldn't. each othodontist uses different braces and the ones i had had locks on them that needed the support of the tooth to open and when a bracket came loose they had to take the wire off to get it. if u mess with it you could brake it and then the ortho will make u pay for a new bracket. could be expensive. just go to your ortho as soon as possibleHealth Question & Answer
Don't do it yourself. I had a loose bracket for a year, and it didn't do anything, but try to get to the orthodontist soon, but don't try to get it off yourself! You could mess something up, you weren't trained in college about it.Health Question & Answer
i dont think that would be a good idea to try and do it yourself. you will probably just need to leave it there until you can get to the ortho. if you mess with it, you might loosen some of the other brackets.Health Question & Answer
Don't pull it off! You might damage your gums or your arch wire in the process. Please notify your parents so they can make an appointment with your orthodontist right away.
(And P.S. tweezers are poo, use pliers.)
