Question: Sister got a filling 4 hrs ago - side of face is still numb and extremely droopy. is there a problem.?
okay so basically my sister got two fillings in the upper right side of her mouth today. she got them done about four or so hours ago, but the right side of her mouth is still numb, puffy, and really droopy. when she first came home, she said her right eyelid was numb-ish and she had trouble keeping her eyelid up (like it was hard to open her eye and keep it open). i believe she got one shot of novocaine, and i thought that that stuff wears off in like .. one hour or one and a half hours. since it hasn't worn off .. is there a problem.? should i be worried.? someone please explain!Health Question & Answer
