It is not only common for spaces to grow between the primary teeth, it is necessary. As children get older their bodies are developing and the bones grow to their full size. This is the case with the maxilla and mandible as well. To prepare for the permanent teeth that are coming in, the alveolar bone that supports the teeth, gets larger. Since the primary teeth do not grow in size, the natural occurrence is the spacing that you are seeing. These spaces will disappear as the permanent teeth come in, which should be between 6-8 years old for the lower front teeth and 7-9 years old for the upper front teeth. Health Question & Answer

Awww... Don't worry at all!

I've worked in pediatrics for years and I see boys and girls like that all the time. The baby teeth are so tiny, it common for spacing between them. They need room to grown and for the adult teeth to come in.

Normal, normal, normal.... deep breaths.Health Question & Answer

Someone told me (because my son had them, too), that gaps are actually preferable, because that means when they lose their baby teeth, their adult teeth will have room to come in straight. I would wait a little and see if that's what happens. Health Question & Answer

Right now there's just extra space because he's growing. They will probably get smaller as he starts getting his permanent teeth in. After that if there are still gaps talk to his dentist about possible orthodontic treatment to close the gaps.Health Question & Answer

the inhalers probably arent the cause . the good news is those are baby teeth which will disappear. gaps there more of a problemHealth Question & Answer

could be a ton of reasons. Wait until he is 8 or so and go to an orthodontist who will recommend braces to push his teeth back together.Health Question & Answer
