Ask your parents if they will look into it with you, most orthodontists have financing plans, could be less than 100 dollars/month! You could offer to help pay for them, with a part time job, or babysitting money. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

If you have any friends or family members, try asking them to come with you cause I heard if you go in a group its cheaper

Just try talking to them about it and if they talk about money tell them about the group plan

Try making them feel guilty

If you go with lots of people, like 5 or 4, the price might be cheaper. Call the ortho and ask so then you can tell your mom who to go to.Health Question & Answer

I had the same problem when I was younger. It actually runs in my family, as my Dad, his brother, and all his sisters had this too. All of them had braces except the brother, and they all have straight teeth, even the one who didn't get braces.
Because of that, my parents didn't want to get me braces, and even though it was really annoying to have gaps between my teeth, and for them to not be straight, they did even eventually straighten out.
My advice is to get some X-rays done at your dentists to see what is going on under your gums. If there is room for your teeth to still move, let them. If you make them move before they are ready, all you are going to do is give you pain.
also, if you do end of getting braces, after you get them off, you have to wear a retainer basically ever night for forever more, or your teeth will move back to how they were meant to be to begin with. Don't believe me.? Ask some people who had braces and ask them what happens if they ever don't wear their retainers at night.Health Question & Answer

Well, that's gotta be annoying. I'm in the eighth grade, and I got referred to the orthodontist by my regular dentist. If your teeth are bad enough, normally your regular dentist will recommend to your parents that you go see one. Tell your mom you need an appointment to get your teeth cleaned, and not only will you walk away with a bright, clean smile, but the dentist will examine your teeth also. Normally someone with 'Dr.' in front of their name can say something with a little more seriousness and urgency than an eighth-grader can. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
