DENTAL CARE DURING PREGNANCY?!
Question: DENTAL CARE DURING PREGNANCY.?
What toothpastes, toothbrushes, mouthwashes and calcium supplements are recommended during pregnancy.?Health Question & Answer
Answers:
You can continue to use the same tooth paste, brush, and mouthwash that you used before pregnancy. Your toothpaste should have fluoride in it however, and not contain whitening products that may be harmful.... You can use any mouthwash, but I would recommend using ACT because it has additional fluoride that is a great addition to your oral hygiene, especially since pregnancy puts an additional strain on your teeth. As for supplements you should check with your OB, but a standard prenatal vitamin should be fine.
