Question: My tooth still hurting after refilling.?
ok...so i had filling a while back, some of it chipped, then i went back in and the dentist drilled some with no numbing stuff (wasn't too bad) and then 'refilled' it and sent me off.
its's been about 6 days and my tooth hurts when i eat....worse than it did before i got it fixed.
any ideas as to why or if it's just something that'll wear off.?Health Question & Answer

Anytime you do intrusive dental work like a filling, it can take time for the nerves of your tooth to calm back down. It may take about three weeks or so before its completely better. If its not feeling better in a month or starts to get worse call your dentist.
