Question: I hurt my teeth with braces on!!.?
Yesterday i was playing basketball and i came down hard on my teeth. 2 of my brackets are loose and my teeth are killing me. my teeth moved out of place and i can wiggle one of them slightly. im worried wat should i do

ideally you should have gone to the orthodontists as soon as you could, so book an emergency appointment, like NOW! ouchh.
(and i know you wouldn't wear a mouthguard in playing basketball, bcz err it doesnt happen ^^)
basically, your brackets are loose, and so if you leave your teeth as they are, the braces won't be pulling in the right places, so your teeth will get even more out of place, which defeats the point of getting braces in the first place.
make sure you go see the orthodontist, they'll fit you in bc they have slots for emergencies. if this isn't an emergency, then what is.?. look after your teeth by sorting it out, what's the point in braces if you ain't got the teeth.? - and i got braces and a few teeth can wobble anyway, they're not in a fixed place, because they move alot. it's easy to mess your teeth up with them and so i feel ya.

Call the orthodontist you go to right away. They'll be able to fix the braces.
P.S. also just a tip, you should wear a mouth guard when it comes to doing stuff like that. But don't get one at a sports store because they won't fit. Orthodontists can make special ones to fit over your braces.Health Question & Answer

you need the brackets replaced, the misplaced teeth will re-align quite quickly. see your orthodontist on Monday!Health Question & Answer
