I was just wondering when you get your wisdom teeth out do you have to get a drip or a needdle.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

i'm not sure what you mean by drip. if you are referring to sedation, it's really upto you. there is rarely any situation you really need it (maybe the tooth is impacted in bone fully). most of the time you only need local anesthesia by injection in your mouth unless you request getting sedation due to fear or too much discomfort. I had the drip when i got my wisdom teeth removed and I'm glad I did. It doesn't hurt at all (just like a vacination) and kicks in like in 5 minutes. Unlike a needle which takes time to numb and usually have to inject you again if you need a higher dosage. Plus, you wont see anything because the drip will make you fall asleep and the assistants monitor your breathing and heartbeat through a monitor. needle is pretty good. that how i have had 3 wisdom teeth removed. the yanking of the tooth u only feel pressure
