Question: How long does it take wisdom teeth to grow in.?
If I am just starting to feel a little bit of the tip of a widom tooth coming in, how long will it be before the whole tooth is there. I'm wondering how much time I have before I need to get them out, if I can't get them out until christmas break is that alright.? My dentist said they would probably shift my teeth if I I didn't get them out.Health Question & Answer

It may never come in any farther. It depends on your existing teeth and the room in there. Out of my four wisdom teeth, I had two come in fully, one partially, and one never broke the surface- it impacted due to there being no room. Get them out as quickly as you can, I suffered with mine until I was 26 years old and they had rotted out by that point. The pain was horrendous, and they got infected frequently. I had no shifting whatsoever, despite the 'pushing' of the wisdom teeth.Health Question & Answer
