I have braces for 2 weeks now and just had 2 of my bicuspids pulled out...I'm in major pain, is that normal?!

Question: I have braces for 2 weeks now and just had 2 of my bicuspids pulled out...I'm in major pain, is that normal.?
I had 2 (bicuspids) teeth extracted almost 2 days ago and they look like they're healing fine, however the right one is hurting like heck, I'm not sure if it's the braces that's causing the pain and pulling in to the extraction site or it's the extraction site itself. I can't tell where the pain is coming from coz my teeth already hurt to begin with before the extraction. Has anyone had this experience before.? Braces and extraction.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Whenever you have braces, you are pushing and pulling on the nerves and muscles that are in your mouth that can cause pain. When you get a tooth, or two, pulled while having braces, it can hurt even worse. It would normal to have pain after getting some teeth pulled then having braces pull on the nerves that have already been bothered. But if for some reason the pain persists or gets worse over time, go see your dentist and ask. For the time being, eat soft food and try not to eat anything that is tough or hard.Health Question & Answer
