For one: brave question
To be honest, it happens to me, too.
I THINK that like maybe mucus or spit or whatever gathers in your mouth while you sleep and stuff so it builds up and smells funny. So what I normally do is after brushing my teeth, I eat, because it tends to leave a food smell (maybe lucky charms marshmallow smell lol) in my mouth, instead. And then it doesn't taste weird either. Health Question & Answer

Whats going on is build up of sulfates that cause bad breath. To get rid of it all you need to do is get Closys mouth wash at Walgreens. It a little expensive but it will take away your bad breath. Wash in the morning and before you go to bed and be done with it. also if you floss each day you shouldn't have bad breath.
