i just got braces and i didnt think they would be bad and they werent but then i tried to eat a sandwich and it hurt like hell and there was sh*t

It's totally normal for your teeth to hurt when you first get braces and it won't last forever. But there are some other thing that will make your teeth feel just the same. Especially when you get your braces tightened (only sometimes though. not always), and when you get elastics (it makes your nose run, you get sinus headaches, and you can actually feel your teeth moving! Not fun!) And yes you will be able to eat a Big Mac again. LOL!Health Question & Answer
Definately not. As soon as your mouth gets used to the brackets, it will be fine. The nly other time it will hurt to eat is sometimes after you get them tightened and they are sensitive.Health Question & Answer
