no it doesnt hurt, they give you stuff to numb it, and all you feel is a dull pull. afterwards it doesnt hurt, unless you stick your tounge in the spot ur tooth use to be. your mouith will feel numb afterwards, you might drool some to, when the needle goes in your mouth to numb it its scary but doesnt hurt it just pricks.Health Question & Answer

Hiya, no it doesnt hurt when you get your tooth extracted. I had 2 of my molars removed at the same time not long ago, and it was excruciating pain when they were doing it. It does feel abit weird when they get the tooth out, because you can feel the force the dentist is putting to get it out. I wouldn't worry, it took about 25-30 minutes for both of mine to comeout. just dont worry too much, you hardly feel anything because of the anaesthetics they inject.

One thing i will say is that tonight and tomorrow you will be in quite abit of after pain, your dentist should give you some pain killers, its your still at school you might miss a day or two.Health Question & Answer

Deepends. the dentist will take a look and see if you need a prick and sometimes the anasthetic can't really take it completely over. Even if you do have a local (anasthetic) you'll still know what's going on.

When I had mine I didn't feel any pain until afterwards (it was really not pleasent afterwards and my dad let me have some whiskey which wasn't the best but it worked! lol!). I felt it being torn out and there was a lot of pressure. it's really awkward and uncomfortable and I thought I might start laughing when I heard a huge "CRACK" but it was just that my tooth was deep routed and hard to get out. It's alright really and now that it's out I'm much happier that my teeth can fit in my mouth a bit easier!Health Question & Answer

The needle won't hurt it feels like a scratch or like you are tugging one strand of hair softly, and the numbing injection helps because i couldn't feel anything when the dentist extracted the tooth so don't worry about anything its for the best anyway but i recommend that you that you take some pain killers after the extraction for when the numb sensation wears offHealth Question & Answer

Pain is different for different people. Some have a low tolerance and some have a high tolerance.

When they start they will numb up the area,so you should not feel anything except pressure. For most pressure during the procedure is toelerable, but some people find it such a weird feeling that they interpret it as pain. Health Question & Answer

Assuming the dentist knows what he/she is doing and properly numbs the area, then you will not feel any pain. You will probably feel the tooth being pulled out, which is a little icky, but no pain. However it is rather painful for a few days afterward. Make sure the dentist gives you a prescription for pain killers. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

ive had my 2 top wisdom teeth removed
and it didnt hurt at all

i found the worst part was that horrible x ray thing they shove in your mouth but youve probably already had one of those so you should know what to expect from that

just wanted to add after reading another post : it did not take long at all to extract.... first they numb the area and then you have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to take affect then once they begin the extraction it took less than 5 minsHealth Question & Answer

NO!! ive had 5 out (don't laugh!) and each time did not hurt. It only gets a little sore when they put the injection in but it lasts a second. You will feel a bit of tugging but no pain. it didn't hurt after either. just be careful to eat gently afterwards. soup is great for this!

good luck and dont worry Health Question & Answer

Well.
I just had 4 wisdom teeth out a week ago, and to be honest the only painful part was the injection.
The injection only last about 4 seconds, all u do is take a couple of deep breathes and relax and then it wont hurt and before you know it, the needles over.
Then all you will really feel is pressure and then that's it :-) nothing to worry about.
i stressed heaps and in the end i felt stupid.
good luck.Health Question & Answer

It does not hurt AT ALL.
The dentist will give u an anesthesia injection which is a little prick and then your mouth fill go all numb and feel like it is swelling.
Then the dentist will act all calm and suddenly pull out ur teeth.
It won't hurt at all and you can take pain killers later on so it has no chances to pain.
Then all will be great.
It happened to me too
Good luck!
