Sensitivity can occur for several reasons.
If you had silver fillings places then the metal conduct the tempature changes, normally this will go away with time. If it get to unberable you can aske the dentist to replacce the filling and put a liner under the sivler filling
If you had a white filling then there may be leakage, in shich case you need to have the dntist replace it.
If you cavity was close to the nerve then you may experince sensitivity.
The filling could be high

I used to have really sensitive teeth. I tried toothpastes for sensitive teeth and they helped a little bit, but then the dentist gave me something called Oxygene. Its a gel that you brush on after your regular toothpaste and it was amazing. It helped so much. You can buy it at the oxyfresh website.Health Question & Answer
