Question: I want rainbow bracessss.?
I'm getting braces on Thursday, and I really think I want rainbow ones. I think that would be pretty cool. I don't know if my Orthodontist would let me do that though, so if I can't get rainbow ones, what are some suggestions you have for colors.?Health Question & Answer

You're orthodontist should let you.. mine always did.
If he is in a bad mood or whatever and doesn't let you, here are some other suggestions:
- light blue and hot pink, one after the other.
- plain light blue
- Christmas colours - for Christmas of course!
- Colours of your favourite team..
- purple and pink (if you're girly and stuff)
- yellow and blue
- electric green and purple
- orange and blue
- orange and yellow
Colours not to get:
- all dark green (it looks like you have cabbage stuck in your teeth).
- don't get yellow if you have 'clear' braces
Different patterns:
- top left half blue, top right half pink - left bottom half pink, right bottom half blue..
- one after the other
- top half pink, bottom half blue

First of all, congrats on finally getting them! They are NOT bad at all, no matter what people tell you. I got mine on in June and now I forget they are even there. It will be very awkward the first week you get them on and I'm not gonna lie, it will be painful. However after a week or two everything is back to normal and you can eat normal foods and stuff.
But as for your question, it just depends if your orthodontist is cool or not! My friend has rainbow colors on her braces.
A few tips:
Do not get yellow, it looks like you have yellow teeth, corn stuck in your teeth, tartar, or popcorn stuck.
Pearl colored bands work the best in my opinion. They make your braces a LOT less noticeable. I have the pearl/white bands on mine and now they aren't nearly as noticeable. I love the color!Health Question & Answer

Pink and orange, pink and purple, your school colors, blue and orange, the only two colors i would say no too would be yellow, because your teeth will look yellow, and green, it looks like you have lettuce in your teeth.Health Question & Answer
