Question: Just got teeth cleaned earlier and....?
i haven't been to the dentist in ten years. Last time i went i was six. I'm now sixteen and i went for the first time since then. Well i must have done something right because i didn't have any cavities! and i'm a smoker. anyway, my dentist was cleaning my teeth and it honestly felt like she was ripping my teeth out, especially in the front. It was this awful scraping noise and i seriously thought they were going to snap in half. Is this normal.?!.?Health Question & Answer

Maybe you have sensitive gums, my mom has them freeze her every time she gets her teeth cleaned because its painful. You could also just have a rough dentist :)Health Question & Answer

If you never go to the dentist, and then all of a sudden there's 'trama' on your teeth, it's going to feel a bit awkward and painful.
Sort of like getting braces. It's weird at first, but then you get used to it.
