Hey I have a nervous habit of biting my mouth, I believe when I sleep, and for the past 3 days its been swollen, my teeth rub agianst it nd it hurts. I heard get a retainer or something to wear from now on but should I heal natrually or go to the doctor. Im in a little painHealth Question & Answer

Go to your dentist, you wont heal if our constantly aggraviing our teeth. A night guard may work so tlak about one with your dentist ,sound like you may be grinding and in the process grabing your cheeks, so a nightguar will keep your teeth sepaated and relax the muscles so they are not as active when you sleep.Health Question & Answer
