How old is too old to be having wisdom teeth coming?!

Question: How old is too old to be having wisdom teeth coming.?

I'm 27 y/o and I still have 2 wisdom teeth who have just started coming through. My husband says I'm a liar, that it isn't possible for someone my age to have wisdome teeth still coming in. So am I just a weirdo because these teeth are coming in.?

Well some people never get there wisdom teeth but since you said u feel them coming in, Im sure you are. There is really no specific age. I know this sounds crazy but I am a dental assistant and we had a 94 year old lady who came it because her gums were sore and it was her wisdom teeth that were coming in.Health Question & Answer

It varies! Teeth are in a constant moving state. If you had a tooth keeping your wisdom tooth from erupting, and you remove that tooth, the wisdom tooth will start erupting. I've seen it happen in a 64 year old.Health Question & Answer
