Question: Serious Q for Dental Professionals please re: complicated uvulitis....?
I was vomiting heavily several weeks ago and managed to get a pretty bad case of uvulitis, treated with Abx but now it seems that I must have done same odd damage to it as I can feel hanging tissue toward the back of my oral cavity.
Is this the sort of thing that can be treated by dentists or do I need to consult with an ENT for this, e.g.like if it requires some sort of ablation.?

I would see my ENT friend if I were you. If you cannot verify what it is you are feeling (like inflamed uvula) it should be checked. If you saw me I would probably refer you to a specialist to have any abnormality checked.Health Question & Answer
