No problem. I've gotten plenty of teeth removed (I'm 18 now), and the thing that hurt the worst was the novocaine shot, which is about a .5 (1 being least painful). If you're getting a baby molar removed, then you will feel pressure and hear a strange grinding when the tooth his pulled out, but that's normal so don't freak. Your gums will be a little tender when the numbness wears off, but that's it. Just don't each chips for a day or two, and you'll be good to go. =)Health Question & Answer

it is just a baby tooth and you will not feel anything as dentist will numb the area and it will be gone. But you may have pain afterwards and for that dentist will prescribe you antibiotics and pain killers. Honestly, there is no pain at all in the extraction process. They will probably swab your gums with a numbing jelly, and give you a novocaine shot in the gums near the tooth to deaden it. I would say a 1 - 2 at the most on the pain scale. Otherwise they may give you "laughing gas" via a mask they would put over your face, in which case you wouldn't even have the shot pain.

When I had my tooth pulled, I remember I sat back, and they gave me laughing gas. The dentist then pulled on my tooth, I heard a crunch, and it was out. No pain, nothing.

I've also had teeth drilled on under novocaine and didn't feel a thing, so I'd say you're pretty safe. Try not to worry about it too much, you'll do fine. Thinking about it is far scarier than the actual thing. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

The only thing that hurts is the shot they give you. Taking it out will not hurt, only slight discomfort.

One time, my dad pulled a tooth out for me at home with pliers, and it didn't even hurt.Health Question & Answer

it doesnt hurt at all really...cause they usually numb your mouth before doing it.....but if they dont do that...then it might hurt around a 4 or 2...idk

I've gotten 8 or more teeth pulled...and am going on 4 more...(wisdom teeth) lolHealth Question & Answer
