Question: Why my baby's back teeth (for chew teeth) not growthing.?
My baby 17 months now. She has front teeth for bite :) but she doesn't have back teeth for chew therefore she always eats only mushed food, if i give her any chewable food she bites and but couldn't chew therefore always choke, that really scared me many times. I saw 1 year old boy eating snaks and cookies, look no problem but my baby... !!!! I worry her late teething problem and please give me any advise. Thank you.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
hello. it takes 24 months at the least that all baby teeth erupts (front and back teeth).

Although on some cases, baby teeth are genetically absent (disease-related or not), or delayed.

Better to have your baby seen by a pedodontist. She may refer your baby for an xray, for better diagnosis. goodluck
