Nah you shouldn't get bullied, unless it's just your best friends mucking around (that's what happened to me lol).
If you can't talk in your braces, don't worry too much about it because you'll get used to them and soon you won't notice they're even there.

I have braces.
And a speech impediment because of my braces, which only developed after having them for a year :P
My friends constantly mock me about my newly acquired lisp, but I love having my braces so I just laugh with them.

I freaking wish I had my braces back on. Keep trying to talk in them, talk all night to your parents or guardian or close friends. Kids usually have braces at your age.. I had buck teeth and my teeth were criss crossed, I was more then ready for braces!

I would hope not. My son has braces he dose not have any problem talking because of them. but he does have a mouth appliance that causes a speech impairment even tho it is not bad there are only a few children that i have seen have made fun of the way he says things. It dose not bother him because he knows that words can not hurt him. He just laughs it off.Health Question & Answer

it depends on where you go to school. i had braces for 3 years and I never got bullied. i had the worst lisp in the world and i couldnt even pronounce most words. I wish you luck tho. :)Health Question & Answer
