Question: Has anyone ever had a tooth chained.?

okay well im gonna have surgery in December..and im gonna get a chain in my tooth (canine) and get it pulled or something like that..

i already have braces..

i was just wondering..does this hurt a lot.?
how about afterward.? does it hurt more.?

My brother just got that done last week!
He said "it didn't feel good," but they did their best to make him as comfortable as possible. It hurt him at first, but he's getting better. His mouth is still a little sore. It looks so much better though.

Both of my children had this procedure done. You will either be numbed very well or given sedation depending on your surgeon. It shouldn't hurt while it is being done. You will be a little sore after but you will be shocked at how fast your tooth will appear. Health Question & Answer
