Question: Changing to self ligating braces.?
i got regular braces put on 2 weeks ago, can i take them off and switch them for self ligating braces instead
also, i have braces to straighten teeth and cure my over bite. about how much faster will self ligating braces fix my teeth.?
my braces are mostly to fix my overbite though
my teeth are mainly straight, just a few gaps

It will make a differnce of 3 months maybe, but depends on alot of factors such as patient compliance in elastic wear oral hygiene etc. If you want self ligating its going to cost you money to take these off, put the other on and also pay for the braces as well.Health Question & Answer
