Question: I have this white sore in my mouth.?
I don't know what i've done to it. But it's a small white patch (it's flat, nothing like an ulcer that sticks out) and it really really hurts, and there is a red sore around it.

It's sounds like a canker sore, if it is, there isn't much you do besides rinse with warm salt water 3-4 times a day and you can use "kank-aid" or ambesol to numb it. Brush often because a clean mouth will heal faster. It will eventually go away on its own. Health Question & Answer
Could be a canker sore, you can put cream of tartar on those overnight and they feel better by morning. If you don't do anything to them, they can hurt for up to a week.
edit: I guess numbing it would be a good idea, but really, the cream of tartar works for me every time. Just before you lay down, pack a little glob of the powder on it and try not to swallow it or talk or anything. If you can get that glob to stay, you're golden.Health Question & Answer

there are these little cu-tip things (idk how to spell it) but you break open one end and let the numbing gel soak into the other end and those are what i use to get rid of them. you just have to numb it and let it go away. DONT PICK AT IT! and like everyone else said, get really warm very very salty water and just swish it around in your mouth. those get rid of them faster. but try something to numb themHealth Question & Answer
