If an orthodontist doesn't do invisilign, can he still do my teeth but have my invisilign sent from elsewhere?!

Question: If an orthodontist doesn't do invisilign, can he still do my teeth but have my invisilign sent from elsewhere.?
because we started with someone, i haven't gotten braces yet, but i did get an expander put in, i keep asking about invisilign, but he says that it won't work but my friend who has it says that orthodontists just say that because they can't do it, so i looked it up and he doesn't do invisilign, can i leave him (even though we already started here) and go to another orthodontist.? or can i stay with him, but have the invisilign brought from elsewhere.? what can i do.?!.?Health Question & Answer

He probably doesn't do Invisalign because he's not trained to use it. Is it possible that you're not a good candidate for Invisalign.? My bite was really off, so I had to have conventional braces. Find out if you're even a candidate for Invisalign before you switch orthodontists. I'm thinking if you have an expander, your issues are far more complicated than just a few crooked teeth. You probably have complex orofacial involvement that's not properly addressed without wires and brackets.

Most orthodontists will give you a free consultation, but many will not finish treatment started by another orthodontist. Do some legwork now before it's too late to change your mind. You will still be responsible for the cost of records and the expander. Health Question & Answer

If he doesn't do it, he really doesn't.
