Question: Just had a jaw tooth pulled and it hurts like crazy.?
Anybody have any tips for me on how to best care for this.? This was an upper back tooth and apparently the root poked a small hole into my sinus cavity. The Dr. put collagen in the hole and stitched it. I am on an antibiotic. I have been using some ice. I have pain meds, but I really want to make sure I take good care of this. Any input.? the BEST advise is DON'T BLOW YOUR NOSE.
WHY NOT.?
Since there is a small opening into your nasal sinus, any pressure from forcefully blowing out will drive infected mucus into the healing wound.Health Question & Answer

Never fun when you have a wisdom tooth extraction. Since you just had this procedure done,there's not much you can do but to follow the dentist's orders-take your meds and rest. Any soreness should get better day by day. I would avoid strenous work and any type of hard crunchy food. Crunchy foods like chips or nuts may potentially lodge in the ext. site. Your jaw may also be sore from being kept opened during the procedure and also the injection site for the shot. I am sorry you feel so bad-just know you will feel better in a few days.Health Question & Answer
I had all four pulled at the same time and it hurt like crazy, but the pain went away after about 2 days. After a week I actually forgot I got them pulled! My best advice is to just endure.Health Question & Answer
