Yesterday, Sunday, my friend, Joy, and I went shopping together at the mall with my dad and her grandma's permission. We bought the same shirt and whatever and we had a blast.
The next day, today, people were making flattering comments about us matching and stuff so I decided that Joy and I may go shopping the week after next week again to pick out new outfits.
During 4th period (lunch) my best friend in the world, Pamela, had came and sat down with Joy and I to ask a couple questions about yesterday. Pamela and Joy weren't friend since 5th grade and they've hated each other since, so Pamela's been talking to me, mainly.
While we were chatting and stuff, Pamela began criticizing Joy on our matching shirt (saying that it looks better on me than on her) and other surprising comments.
QUESTION: Do you think that was wrong of Pamela to do.? After all, Joy was trying her best to ignore her.
CONTINUING: Anyway, Pamela wrote me a note saying not to be Joys friend and stuff because she's a copy catter and stuff and she's not a trusted friend.
QUESTION: Do you think I should believe Pamela.? After all, they weren't friends since the 5th grade and Pamela is a gossiper.
CONTINUING: So, anyway, I'm not sure if I should still take Joy shopping with me. Because she DOES copy me in everything I do, like she doesn't have a brain of her own. So please answer ASAP!

I hate when people copy me and i bet you do too.
Just say "hey i wanna go shopping again but can you please try not copy me.?" It seems hard but trust me.

1st of all it was wrong of pamela to do that... joy did nothing to her... dont listen to pamela... i have a friend telling me not be friends with the other friend... and the friend that was telling me to not be friends with her is no longer my friend due to a fight...oops! Compliment any good ideas she has. That'll help build her confidence, which apparently takes regular beatings from whatever ball your friend Pamela serves. Don't worry about what other people say it is what you feel is right, about your friend copying off of you try to be nice and show her other things that she may look good in. Tell her that you like her for the way she is and not for who or what she is trying to be. If your best friend gives you grief then maybe she is not your best friend at all. I don't think you should stop being friends with Joy because this way you'll hurt your friend and its just what Pamela wants not you. Pamela said so because she doesn't like Joy. If Joy copies you all the time and if it annoyes you then maybe you should tell her but I think you like to do things together. And trust me Pamela said the T-shirt looks good on you and not Joy because she doesn't like her and in some way she wanted to hurt her.

I think that you should truly think about which is the better friend. From this, it sounds to me that Pamela just has some sort of grudge against Joy, and you shouldn't listen to what she was saying about her. Of course you should still go shopping with Joy. Pamela is jealous and is trying to break up your friendship. don't talk to her about Joy. If you're friends with both, then see them separately, 3 girls can never get along as two are more friendly than 3.

Erm, you may not know this, but I think you accidentally pick the wrong category for your question. When, you typed 'brace', I think the internet thinks you meant braces.
Maybe you can re-ask your question in a more related category like his one: family & relationships->friends.
