Question: What could be the black thing that occurred in my mouth after the dentist pulled off my decayed tooth.?
after that operation, i noticed a little black something on the place where the pulled tooth was before. it aches when i brush it. please help! what could it be.? is it just normal.? (it was my first time to have my decayed tooth pulled by a dentist)

You don't say how long ago you had the extraction, but if it was long enough for the area to heal a bit I am sure it is just dark blood clotting that you can see. avoid brushing this area, but keep it clean by using hot salt water mouth wash.Health Question & Answer
Dont brush over it! Its a clot and you don't want to loosen it and have it fall out and get dry socket. It will hurt forever if that happens. Health Question & Answer
