I just got my Wisdom teeth out yesterday, and i was wondering
how long it takes for me to be ready to eat real food.

Hey, I got my wisdom teeth out last Thursday. I started eating harder foods on Sunday but it was hard for me though. I was kinda scared because I didn't wanna mess with my stitches and all. It just depends when you are ready. It's almost a week for me and Im still a little nervous to eat hard foods. I think Ive lost like 7 pounds since ive gotten my wisdom teeth out. But youll know when you are ready to eat harder foods, just be careful.Health Question & Answer
if i remember correctly, it was a couple days til i could eat normalish food. but still couldn't do anything hard like nuts or chips for a while more.
they gave me ibuprofin 600's which sucked cause they did nothing. hopefully u got vicadin. u might want to go back and aks for it if u didn't.

Everyone is different but I started eating regular food after about 2-3 days.You must remember to clean out the holes with the dropper they gave you EVERY time after you eat. Otherwise the swelling takes way longer to go down, and the holes take forever to heal.Health Question & Answer
