Congratulations!!! Oh it must be amazing to finally have those things off. I'd say wait a few days just to let your enamel get used to being fully exposed. I use Whitestrips, too..they're amazing. No, it doesn't damage your gums. You'll have white teeth within days. Yay=)Health Question & Answer

Your gums have to get used to the amount of plague, and all that other crap.
It'd be bad and useless to start right away.

I don't see why it would hurt, but I would wait probably two weeks just to be safe or If your gums aren't sore then you should be fine. I know my teeth were sore a few days after I got my braces off. Health Question & Answer
