Question: I need braces but no money.?
im 14, i really need braces becuz of an overbite and in the back my teeth are crooked but my mom cant afford it and shes having money issues she cant even pay all the bills. what should i do.?Health Question & Answer

I too needed braces growing up. I ended up never getting my teeth fixed. So it is on my long list of things to-do now that I have a good paying job.
Without money you only have a few options. Dental insurance does not cover braces when you are an adult but it will cover braces for minors, so if your mom can buy some dental insurance then you are good to go.
No insurance- then you should get your teeth fixed at a dental school. The dentists are really slow but they still do good work. It just takes them like 3 x as long and then their professor has to check on the process, which slows things down even further.

There are some options but they are limited to why your mother or you can't pay the bills. If your mother is disabled or chronically ill or over 65 let me know and I will prepare a list of those organizations depending on where you live. On occasion the children's hospitals will take cases that are so severe that limit your ability to eat and digest properly. You can try to be accepted to a local dental school if there are any but you and your mother will have to be very available if accepted they will not offer nights or weekend appointments and they appointments will be very long as they are teaching and they may not accept children. that really sucks why don't you ask for help get like a charity thing from your uncles aunts cousins dad friends teachers and tell the they are for braces the dentist will let you pay in payments......i really hope you get braces........if your mom gets insurance from her work for you the insurance wil pay halfHealth Question & Answer
