K. I went to the ortho 2 summers ago and they told me I didn't need braces. Since then my two top front teeth have grown farther apart and the gap is getting bigger. It is about the size of thin metal wire. Health Question & Answer

Same with me. They gave me a few options and those were-
1. To get two brackets on each of your front teeth with a band connecting them to hold your two front teeth together....
2. To get a retainer which would place pressure to bring the two front teeth together
3. to get veneers- a layer of material placed over your teeth to make them bigger and close up the space. I've had this doe to other teeth before....and it's kind of an annoying process. They have to take enamel of the existing teeth and get a mold and create veneers to match the shade of your other teeth. Health Question & Answer
