Salt water is largely ineffective.
Get a chlorhexidine mouthwash e.g. Peridex, and use it 2x daily after brushing. I give it out to all my patients pre-extraction and post-extraction. Keeps everything perfectly clean, even the stitches.Health Question & Answer
