What happens after your braces come off? ?!

Question: What happens after your braces come off.? .?
I'm getting my braces off in 2 days and I'm freaking out. No, not the process of it, but the results.
Honestly, I think my teeth look fine when I look in the mirror, but I took a picture of my teeth for the first time and it looks HORRIBLE.
I was so angry I wanted to cry.
Why couldn't I see when I looked in the mirror, that one of my two front teeth was noticably longer than the other.?
The two front teeth have been pushing against each other so much that one's at an angle and is more forward than the one.
I don't know why they look so bad in the picture...

So, back to the question.
Since one of my two front teeth is longer, do you think the orthodontist will cut/grind it so it's the same size as the other one.? Will it cost extra.?
He never tells me anything when I have an appointment. Now it's just 2 days before I get it off and I'm so concerned and disappointed.

I feel like it's been a waste of time and money. Not only that, my dad's going to kill me.

Will retainers help with minor orthodontic issues.?

Due to braces, I now have an overbite which I never had.
