Question: i have a dry socket....pain.?
I have a dry socket and the dentist gave me a nerve blocker which i have to put in the hole and dig out with tweezers(which I can't take cause the taste and smell) , and told me to rinse with salty warm water. It has been almost 2 weeks and I am in sooooo much pain from my lower jaw to my ear. How long will the pain last.? I have been taking ibprofrin but scared to take it to longHealth Question & Answer

Taking ib profen with food (key word food) for two weeks isnt going to be too bad for your body. Although, if you have a dry socket your oral surgeon should have given you a pain killer like codeine or vicodin. They're much more effective than IB.Health Question & Answer
