Question: Is it possible to still have a abcess on your gums after all the infected teeth are removed..?
my son Had tooth pulled that was infected a month ago took antibitotics now there is another blister where the first one was took to dentist did xrays cant find any infected teeth what would cause the blister in the same place he is on antibotics again.Health Question & Answer


Answers:
May just take a while for the fistula/blister to heal up. Complete the antibiotics and give it a couple of weeks after that, to clear up. As long as he's not in pain it should be fine. Make sure he is brushing and flossing well.

An adult should be helping him brush at least once a day if he is under 10 years old. If he is older than that, but has poor brushing habits, you should still continue to supervise and help with brushing.Health Question & Answer
