okay i got my spacers but in today, and other than not being able to chew, they aren't as painful as I expected. Is it only gonna get worse.?

This is all absolutely normal. I've had braces for a few years, and when I first got my spacers I felt the same way. It is very hard to judge is it is going to get WORSE per say. When they put the braces on you will feel pain, definitely, but the most important thing is NOT to focus on it. I promise you the feeling of pain does go away. But, back to your question.The spacers are creating abnormal space in between your back teeth so your whole mouth is out of whack as it has never experienced this before. The spacers will not come out until the dentist takes them out. Health Question & Answer

i have braces but they dont hurt at all
