What would happen if had mouth wash or listerine in ur mouth all night?!

Mouth wash is mainly used to temporarily cleanse the mouth of bacteria. It is not recommended for long-term use because it may stain the teeth to a light brown color, so it should not be used for more than 2 weeks straight.

I suppose that's what will happen if you leave it in for an extended period of time - tooth staining.

Don't do it. It's bad for your teeth, well not so much as bad, but it's not healthy at all. It contains alcohol. Spit it out, don't try to do it. there's a reason why it's called mouth wash, not mouth drink. It damages your teeth, not so much when you use it properly, but all night would just be plain bad!.

It would probably do more damage than good because mouthwash is heavily alcohol based and that would eat up your enamel if your teeth soaked in it all night.
