How much will replacing a retainer cost?!
Question: How much will replacing a retainer cost.?
i have a metal retainer (so it has pink plastic, and metal) for both top and bottom, but i lost the top one when i put it in my pocket. and i told my parents and they were freaking out saying it would cost $ 2,000 !!! i really hope they are exagerating. also, i only got my braces off like a month ago, so they would still have my molds, which would lower the price too.?

I recently got my braces off too. Although the cost of replacing my retainers that see to be the same type, metal in plastic, and the replacement fee is $125 dollars. Could it be that your parents were saying that is cost them $2000 dollars for the braces and that they don't want to have been wasting that money.? I remember several years ago losing my retainer and getting another one and I think it cost around $65 (au) and that was using the moulds that we'd already made

when i lost my retainer i told the orthodontist and they just molded another one frm my mold. ur parents were probly talking about how much the braces cost and they just want u to wear the retainer so ur teeth dont move back to where they where!! hope i helped!Health Question & Answer
Don't quote me, but I would estimate that the actual plastic that you put in your mouth would be about 75-100 dollars. The molds and the procedure combined would probably go about $250-300Health Question & Answer
