How long do you need braces?!

Well that depends on each individuals dental situation. There are many reasons for braces, such as over bites, under bites, gaps, & crowding. Each situation requires a certain amount of time. I myself had to wear mine for nearly four years (groan) & now I retainers for the rest of my life.Health Question & Answer

It depends mainly on your teeth and the orthodontist that you go to. I had mine on for 2 1/2 years. Other people I know have had them on for longer and others shorter. Before you get braces you may also need other things such as the expander. Talk to your orthodontist about it.
