Wisdom tooth removal pain?!

Question: Wisdom tooth removal pain.?
My last wisdom tooth has finally erupted enough to become a pain. All of my wisdom teeth have taken their sweet time. My Orthodontist says I'll probably need to have them removed to avoid TMJ, despite the fact that while I had braces, 4 other teeth were removed for the extra space.

I'm just wondering, how much is it going to hurt when I get them pulled.?
I know dentists usually pump your gums full of Novocaine before they're pulled, but I could still feel the pressure/yanking sensation of the other 4 teeth being pulled.
Will there be pain after they're pulled out.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
First the other teeth were pulled to create space that the orthodontics needed at the time they probably were not even thinking about your wisdom teeth then sorry! Normally you are given the option of being put under by an oral surgeon. They give you medication that makes you forget the entire experience of having your teeth taken out. They still give you Novocaine to numb the areas. Your other option is to have your general dentist pull them, For this you are awake and you will feel the pressure of the teeth being removed. Afterwords, you may have some discomfort and possible swelling. You are normally given some pain medication. Place and ice pack on each side of your face 20 mins on 20 mins off. No smoking or drinking through a straw. Softer diet for about a week.Health Question & Answer
