Question: What is it like getting braces.?
I'm really, truly, clueless about anything to do with braces except for the fact that I know I have to get them.If anybody has any useful info or anything like even how much it hurts, the process, anything like that would be great!

it doesnt hurt so much as it's a tightness. you may have problems at first with them rubbing on your lip, but your dentist will give you wax to cover where they're really bad. You get used to them really fast and may not even need the wax.
It's kind of fun to pick out the different colors you can get for your bands... just don't do clear or a white, as they'll turn yellow.
Get a Water Pick to clean your teeth, it does wonders.
