So, 4 months ago i had an appointment with my dentist to check my wisdom teeth since they were bothering me a bit. She decided to send me with the oral surgeon who told me i should wait because I had to go back to college in less than 5 days and had to take a plane and stuff. So here I am again trying to make my appointment with the surgeon since I have 15 days before going back to school, but it happens that he moved to another state. Therefore I had to make an apopointment with another surgeon tomorrow. Am I gonna get the surgery right away.? Or do u guys think well discuss about it first.? Another thing is, do u think 15 or leyts say 10 days would be enough for me to take a plane.?

Its really your choice, but you might get dry socket or something that needs to be treated, do you have a dentist that will treat you if something happens when you get back to school.?
I don't think the pain or recovery is a reason to not go on a plane. Its the Follow up, you dentist might need to check the healing in a week. Are your teeth showing yet.? Or are they still below the gum.? If you are just doing local anesthetic, they could probably do it for you tomorrow, when i've had teeth pulled they pulled it the same day as the consultation.
If they are impacted, they will take a longer healing time.Health Question & Answer

Most likely this is just a consultation to see that they will be a typical case or not. Ten days is definitely enough time before you fly. I had mine out and within a couple days I felt great.Health Question & Answer
